Who is DJ Reem?

Kareem Wright, better known as DJ Reem, was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. Growing up in a Jamaican household, he was exposed to an abundance of Reggae music, in addition to Hip-Hop and R&B. Eventually, Reem would go on to explore various genres, in an effort to enhance his skills as a DJ.

While in college for massage therapy, DJ Reem served as an intern at The Pulse Radio, which is an internet-based radio station in Columbus, Ohio. During this time, he was able acquire knowledge about radio production, as well as the basic elements of deejaying. Ultimately, Reem would land a Friday night slot for a mix, with a show called Reem’s Power Hour. Reem would use this platform to showcase the talents of local, buzzworthy artists.

In 2013, DJ Reem partnered with friends, creating a record label called Dream Lyfe Records. Reem would host numerous projects and also assist in the construction of marketing plans for his label mates.
